Easy Coffee Latte Recipes
Any classic coffee latte recipes are going to call for espresso and foamed milk, and it is this milk that often challenges even the best cooks. Usually preparing a traditional cup of latte requires a formal espresso machine with a steam attachment that is used to create that dreamy cloud of foam that perches atop each cup of café latte. Today, there are also very handy frothing tools that do the job just as well.
Interestingly enough the surge of interest in latte has allowed for an ever-increasing number of recipes to appear. These tend to range from hot and cold beverages, right down to dessert drinks. There are also a host of latte recipes that require special toppings that include everything from white or dark chocolate, caramel, raspberry sauce and a number of different spices and flavorings.
A traditional cup of latte is going to be made from approximately one-third espresso coffee and two-thirds steamed milk. This means that choosing the right beans and using the freshest milk are the keys to a successful and flavorful drink.
